Director’s bio:

Dakota Ford is a Director/Writer/Producer/Editor from the Dallas and Fort Worth area. He’s been creating films since 2006 and has been in the business professionally since 2016. Dakota graduated from UTA in 2016 with a bachelors of fine arts degree under the mentorship of Bart Weiss and Ya’Ke Smith. It was during his time at UTA he gained an understanding of the set life and couldn’t see himself doing anything else. Dakota’s student short film “Concealed” won several awards at many different film festivals and continues to make films today. Whether it be fiction or documentaries, he loves to tell good stories. Ever since he was a child, he has always loved the art of storytelling through moving pictures. That spark at a young made Dakota’s passion grow and chase his dreams. After graduating from college, he created a small production company and began working on sets. After many years in freelance, Dakota accepted a full time position as Video Producer for a city in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and continues to make passion projects along with creating content for clients. His love will always be in filmmaking and just being around a camera.
