Director’s bio:
Rosy Isela De Hoyos is a talented writer and natural storyteller based in San Antonio Texas. Her journey began three years ago when she published her first book, “Love Ever After.” However, she soon realized that she could bring her stories to life on the screen by taking on the role of a director herself. In 2021, she embarked on this new venture and has since been involved as an executive producer and director for several small features and full-length films.
Some of her notable works include “Roadside,” “Ira & Tilly,” “Marginalized,” “The Secret Place,” “Desolates,” and “Hazing Rain.” She has also directed a music video for Chris López titled “Training For Flood.”
Currently, Rosy Isela De Hoyos is working on two exciting projects: “Grey Forest – Infernal Callings” and a documentary about Tommy Price. With her exceptional storytelling abilities and determination, she is poised to make a significant impact in the film industry.
The film beautifully captures the delicate nuances of a father-daughter relationship, initially strained by the protagonist’s inability to appreciate his daughter’s blossoming singing career. Through vivid flashbacks to his abusive relationship with his father, we aim to create a surreal and immersive experience that mirrors the protagonist’s internal turmoil.
