Mending Marisa

Marissa a young mother has slowly been losing her life to addiction. First her parents removed her from their home and then her first child Nicholas was taken from her. In order to survive out on the streets she begins prostituting in order to support her unhealthy battle with drugs. She goes through over 30 rehab centers and all have left her with more questions then answers. When she arrives at the hospital with a life threatening infection that has spread to her heart from the use of needles, the doctors immediately focus on the life of her unborn baby. This film delves into the lives of three women fighting for their lives.
