From a young age, Blaise developed a passion for storytelling, inspired by the emotional power of cinema. His journey began with imaginative projects like stop-motion LEGO animations and evolved during his teenage years, capturing skateboarding adventures with friends and transforming them into vibrant montages. A high school video production class became a defining moment, igniting his creativity and solidifying his dream of pursuing filmmaking as a career.
Blaise refined his craft at Seton Hall University, earning a degree in Film Production. While in school, he gained valuable experience through internships, collaborations on short films, and leadership roles with Pirate TV, where he directed and produced news, creative, and sports segments. These experiences, spanning all aspects of production, helped him grow into a versatile and skilled storyteller.
In 2022, Blaise wrote, directed, and edited his debut short film, “The Ocean.” His follow-up project, “Father Time,” earned multiple awards and recognition at a handful of film festivals. With each project, Blaise strives to create impactful narratives that resonate deeply with audiences, while building upon his experiences and improving his talents.
Since graduating in May, Blaise works as a freelance filmmaker, and gains hands-on experience as a Production Assistant on the sets of films, TV shows, and live events. Now, Blaise is preparing to share his final student film “Widow’s Walk,” a psychological drama blending elements of horror and thriller, set along New Jersey’s shore.
Blaise dreams of seeing his films on the big screen, telling stories that inspire, entertain, and leave lasting impressions.
