Scott desperately needs some time to himself. The stress of hosting his wife’s family for the holidays has him at the breaking point. Drained emotionally and financially, and feeling the effects of weeks of glutenous over-indulgence, all Scott wants to do is hit the trail for a quick hike to clear his head and get his body moving. With a small window of time, the universe seemingly conspires to delay his escape. When he finally reaches the Trailhead, things go terrifyingly sideways, nearly pushing him right over the edge.
