Director’s bio:

Aiden Baty is a teenage filmmaker whose work explores internal conflict, resilience, and emotional transformation through visual storytelling. He is drawn to stories that examine the quiet moments of struggle—where effort, frustration, and self-reflection intersect—and often blends grounded realism with symbolic or experimental elements to express states of mind.

His projects span narrative, documentary, and digitally created environments, with a particular interest in using image, sound, and pacing to convey meaning beyond dialogue. Aiden frequently works across multiple roles in his projects, including writing, directing, editing, and post-production, allowing him to develop a cohesive creative voice from concept to final cut.

He attends Bergen County Academies and is a student in their Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Aiden interns at IMP Studios in Paramus, NJ, where he gains hands-on exposure to professional film production and post-production workflows. Aiden is also an Eagle Scout, an experience that has shaped his approach to leadership, perseverance, and long-term creative discipline.

He hopes to continue developing his craft through the study of film and media, with the long-term goal of working in the film and television industry.
