SHAI K. is the untold story of Shaike Ophir, one of the greatest Israeli actors of all time. Known as the “Israeli Charlie Chaplin”, Ophir worked with the legendary Alfred Hitchcock and Marcel Marceau, and became a mega star in Israel. Yet very few really knew the man behind the thousand faces.

 

Director’s bio:

Writer-director-producer, graduate of Haifa University in Psychology and MA in mass communication from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Among his films: Bird in the Room (2015), Waiting for Godik (2007) and My Champion (2010). As a producer: Holding it In (2019), Bear with Me (2013), All Happy Mornings (2012) and The Israeli Documentary Challenge (2009-2014).
