Avital Simckes studied music for 16 years. After high school, She served in the IDF as an education non-commissioned officer at a tactical training center and with a combat hummer operations unit. During her four years of study at the Maaleh Film School Avital specialized in directing, sound, photography, and editing. Since graduating in 2022 she works as an editor and photographer for private videos.
“Remnant” is Avital’s graduating student film. She is currently working towards the pre-production of her first feature.
