Reese the rat wakes up one morning to find he has overslept, and has only 30 minutes to get to his 9-to-five. Accompanied by his coworker, Frederick the fennec, the two try and make it from the suburbs all the way to New York. Along the way they encounter distracted driving, a head-on collision with the commuter train, and a jet rocket refashioned from a water heater.
