Jeremiah Zagar completed his first documentary, IN A DREAM, in 2008. It was broadcast on HBO, shortlisted for an Academy Award, and received two Emmy nominations, including “Best Documentary.” His next feature-length documentary CAPTIVATED: THE TRIALS OF PAMELA SMART premiered in competition at the Sundance Film Festival and aired on HBO in 2014. His latest film, the feature-length narrative WE THE ANIMALS, premiered at Sundance in 2018 and took home the NEXT Innovator Award.
Ross Kauffman is the Academy Award-winning filmmaker of the documentary BORN INTO BROTHELS, winner of the 2005 Academy Award for best documentary feature. In 2014, he (with Katy Chevigny) directed E-TEAM, a Netflix Original documentary, which debuted at The Sundance Film Festival and garnered Kauffman the Best Cinematography Award for a Documentary Feature. His newest film, TIGERLAND, which was screened at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, will air on the Discovery Channel.
