Director’s bio:

Rick Bedrosian started playing in bands in 1968 and has been a full-time, professional musician since his high school graduation in 1973. Throughout his career while living in New York and Tennessee, Rick has worked on stage and in recording studios with many performers including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gene Clark (the Byrds), The Outlaws, John Stewart (the Kingston Trio), Tommy Makem, Marshall Crenshaw, Henry Paul, Billy Crain and Jim Fish (The Henry Paul Band), Floyd Domino (Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Asleep at the Wheel), The Fureys (in concert on Carnegie Hall’s main stage), Blackhawk, Marshall Chapman, Tommy Crain (Charlie Daniels Band), Lonnie Mack, Eddie Angel (Los Straitjackets) and Silver Chicken. Rick Bedrosian is the leader of the internationally renowned Irish-Rock band, Hair Of The Dog and he portrays George Harrison in the Beatlemania Show, Hey Jude. He’s also the writer and star of the YouTube food, music and travel series, “I Could Eat”. Rick’s remastered LP (CD and vinyl), “Inside My Car” was released in 2009.

Director Statement

My concept is this: Take a deep dive into different cities, villages and neighborhoods, find the great local cuisine, their culture and traditions, the local chefs and the neighborhood musicians. Many times you will discover fantastic musical instrument players and composers that are also able to create incredible meals, often based on generational family recipes. Since I can play several instruments well, we can also have a jam session! This concept is a “can’t miss” and I’m the one with the talent, vision and experience to make it all happen.
