Freehold

Director: Tristan McKenzie
Jersey Short
Drama | USA | 20 min

The film’s title, FREEHOLD refers to a small town off the Northern coastline of New Jersey. It’s a predominantly upper middle class suburb where teenagers run wild; free to indulge in all the debaucheries afforded to them by their generous allowances. The film sifts through this webbed mess of designer drugs and meaningless sex in order to focus on the friendship shared between two young boys.
