Hedi B. Asencio is a working New Jersey actor, writer, and sound explorer. He started his artistic journey early on in life, pursuing musical endeavors. Later in life, Hedi earned his bachelors in English Literature and, in college, grew an immense love for poetry and creative writing. Most recently, he has received festival selections for his work as a writer/actor/director in the short films Mago (2021) and Lone Wolves (2023) at the 2022 Monologues & Poetry International Film festival and the Brightside Film Festival, respectively. On top of these selections, he has also, in the past, played critical roles in the sound department for several other films that have garnered local success. Fine-tuning his craft is his passion, and he sees art as the perfect medium for self-exploration.
