Director’s bio:

Joseph McGovern is a writer/producer/director who has been working within the independent film industry for about ten years. Joseph began his artistic career endeavors acting and working behind the scenes in theater productions – between community and college productions.
Also, a published poet Joseph McGovern created and completed his first creative collaboration art book while in college with a team of fifteen other artists from his school he brought together titled, “Perception.” Poetry plays an important role within his screenplays whether the story and dialogue have poetic direction, visually, or it’s a poetry oriented film.
Joseph has worked in many different facets of the film industry between writing, producing, editing, and acting in short and feature film productions. Also, he’s directed independent commercials, and created original independent content with short films and upcoming feature films he wrote, produced, directed, edited, and color graded delivering to completion.
Joseph McGovern, being a writer, has other independent projects outside the film industry. He completed a novella, three poetry collections, completed half of his first novel, and a spoken word album which will be finished by the end of the year.
