Noa, 13, is trying to protect herself in her own home from trouble, and at the same time, maintain her mother and sister’s innocence, until she realizes: her actions have transferred the danger to her younger sister.
Shulamit Lifshitz lives in Jerusalem, and is a 3rd year film student at the The Maaleh School of Film and Television. Shulamit has a BA in History from Bar Ilan University and a Teaching Certificate from Herzog College. In 2018 she won an honorable mention for her first year film “Miriam”, in the Sir Jack Lyons Charitable Trust Award. The film was screened at the Toronto Jewish film festival iand at a number of other Jewish film festivals worldwide. In 2019 Shulamit’s second year film “Noa” won the Jerusalem Film Fund and the Sir Jack Lyons Charitable Trust Award for best short film. It has since screened at a number of festivals in North America and Europe.
