Raised on a secular kibbutz, Maya is a “doula” (birth coach), and for over 100 times, has helped bring newborn’s into the world When she decides to become an ultra-Orthodox observer, she doesn’t quite realize how complicated it would be to find ‘the one’. The arrangement of her dating of over 100 men in nine years by a matchmaker doesn’t bring her any closer to love and marriage, and of a family of her own: and so she begins once again to re-access her values, aspirations, and goals.
