‘Remember Baghdad’: is the untold story of a thriving, and loved Iraq, and its unmistakeable insight into how the country developed through the eyes of the Jews: Iraq’s first wave of refugees. From picnics on the Tigris, to the elegant Royal Ball, and  ultimately… to hangings, imprisonment, until, reluctantly; to escape. We witness as a generation of a community vanishes, after living peacefully co-existing in the area for over 2,600 years.
With vivid testimony, home movies, and news archives, we follow the lives of four families, who attempt to make sense of chaotic turbulent times – while one man goes back to buy a house in Iraq.
