Confined to a single space, the two men must confront the generational fear and unspoken resentment that has separated them for decades. To break the cycle, they must finally face a painful truth before the final door closes on their relationship forever.

John Ross was born in New York City, where he attended the prestigious Hunter College High School, worked at Marvel Comics, produced the long-running Point Blank Podcast with Mike & Ming of AMC’s Comic Book Men, and formed Brick Prison Productions with partner Todd Sullivan to action their screenplays into viable projects. Through Brick Prison, Ross and Sullivan focus on high-stakes narratives that explore complex human dynamics, moral ambiguity, and the power of community, across genres ranging from gritty realism to speculative fiction, from horror thrillers to adventure comedies.
Ross has made Monmouth County, New Jersey his home for the last twenty-three years. His feature screenplay, Mt. Carmel, has won multiple awards and is currently in pre-production.
