The Remaining Dregs

Director’s bio:

Cinema has been my greatest passion since adolescence. Although I earned an academic degree in Geopolitics, my true path led me to the world of filmmaking. I trained in directing and filmmaking under the mentorship of acclaimed Iranian directors Mohammad Kart and Reza Mirkarimi, whose works have inspired a generation of storytellers.

I learned the art of screenwriting from my mother, a distinguished translator of works by some of the world’s most celebrated authors, translating from English into Persian.

The Remaining Dregs is my debut film as both a writer and director.
