Director’s bio:

Marcell Leon Viragh was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, where he learned Hungarian, English, German, and French at the Austrian School in Budapest and at Lauder Javne School.

After finishing his studies at the University of Exeter Business School in England, he joined the production company Umbrella Collective as a “One Man Army”. Later, he created his own media house, focusing on podcasts, corporate communication videos and documentaries. He worked with companies such as Red Bull, Bosch, AMCHAM, United Way, and Forbes.

Marcell Leon graduated from The Los Angeles Film School with Summa Cum Laude in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Film Production, Directing Orientation. He wrote and directed multiple short films, including DREAMS, BETRAYAL, and his thesis TO SHINE AGAIN. His short film PROPOSAL was selected for four film festivals and won in ten different categories, including Best First-Time Director.
